March 2026 · Florence House, South Coast · Limited to 12 participants

The Promise

Public speaking isn’t about performance. It’s about connection.

Over three days, you’ll learn how to translate your ideas, expertise and personality into presence and power on any stage.

You’ll leave able to:
- Present with clarity and conviction in high-pressure environments.
- Regulate nerves so you stay composed and credible.
- Express authority and authenticity — without losing warmth.
- Engage any audience through storytelling and genuine confidence.

This intensive combines world-class speaker coaching with practical neuroscience and embodied techniques that create lasting change.

Who’s it for

This experience is for professionals who need to communicate clearly and confidently when it matters most — in boardrooms, meetings and high-stakes presentations.

It’s ideal for:
- Senior professionals and business leaders who want to elevate how they present and communicate.
- Managers and emerging leaders preparing for larger platforms — from keynote talks to internal presentations.
- Consultants, coaches and subject-matter experts who want their expertise to land with greater impact.
- Purpose-driven professionals ready to speak with authenticity as well as authority.

This is not an introductory course. It’s for those who already communicate as part of their role and are ready to refine, deepen and expand how they do it.

✳️ What makes it different

Most public-speaking courses focus on technique. This intensive goes deeper — combining proven communication training with practices that help you stay composed, authentic and compelling under pressure.

What sets it apart

  • Proven structure: Built on a tested six-step methodology, the intensive follows a clear, results-driven process. Each layer provides practical deliverables — from refined content and delivery skills to tangible tools you can use long after the intensive.
  • Three-part learning style: A balance of coaching (solutions unique to your context), training (tools developed over 15 years), and doing (practice and embodiment with expert guidance and peer feedback).
  • Integrated approach: Strengthen both your delivery and your ability to self-regulate in real time.
  • Small group, high trust: Only 12 participants — allowing for personalised coaching, detailed feedback and genuine growth.
  • Optional embodied sessions: Complementary experiences such as yoga, breathwork and massage are available for those who want to enhance focus, release tension and connect body and voice more fully.

The Experience

The intensive takes place at Florence House, a beautiful coastal venue nestled at the base of the Seven Sisters on England’s South Coast.
Set within private grounds on the edge of the South Downs, it offers the peace and perspective busy professionals rarely find in daily life.

Being fully on-site and all-inclusive, the environment allows you to step away from distraction and focus entirely on your growth.
You’ll stay in private ensuite bedrooms with views of the Downs and enjoy chef-prepared vegetarian meals — breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks included.

The setting itself supports the learning:
- Beautiful surroundings: Gardens, sea air and open skies create a natural space to think and reset.
- Exceptional food: High-quality, nutritious vegetarian dishes designed to sustain energy and focus.
- Time to breathe: Morning walks on the Downs, shared dining tables and fireside conversations that spark new ideas.
- Wellbeing options: Access to a highly qualified massage therapist and restorative bodywork sessions for those who want to stay relaxed and present throughout the programme.

5. The Structure

Across three immersive days, each stage of the intensive builds on the last — blending insight, practice and reflection through a carefully designed process.

Day 1 — Clarity & Connection

Build trust and connection within the group. Explore your current relationship with public speaking, identify the patterns or beliefs that hold you back, and begin the process of letting them go. Through guided exercises and reflection, create a clear personal blueprint for how you want to think, feel and show up when you speak.

Day 2 — Skills & Practice

The heart of the intensive. Work through Matt’s Six-Point Speaker Framework in a highly practical, immersive format that integrates coaching, training and doing. Expect focused learning, live practice, constructive feedback and moments of real breakthrough — all within a safe and supportive environment.

Day 3 — Integration & Application

The morning is dedicated to working with the nervous system — grounding the learning in calm, embodied confidence. The remainder of the day focuses on translating everything you’ve gained into your professional and personal life. The intensive closes at 3 p.m. after a collective reflection and integration session.

As a Mindfulness Coach, I’m here to coach Mental Fitness habits: simple awareness skills, mindsets and attitudes to allow positive momentum in our daily experience. Allowing enjoyment and productivity. Rewiring our brain with repetition in a similar way to training the body in a gym.

Using simple exercises to: energise aspects of our life that we can control, navigate our emotions, and allow effective action. Balancing the activity in the brain and nervous system. Allowing us to recover from challenges, make effective decisions, and boost our overall performance.

As your yoga teacher for this retreat my intention is to encourage your nervous system to rest. We will do this by making the brain/body/breath connection. With gentle breath and soothing movement we can bring the mind to settle, allowing the deeper digestion to take place without deliberate thought. Leaving you feeling more grounded and calm.

As your massage therapist for this retreat I will work with you to facilitate a deeper connection to your body. We will breathe into blockages within the body, creating flow and embodied relief. This will allow your body to release physical stress, tension, and old patterns. Bringing new possibilities to light.
